Iran and the Holocaust

I can't believe that the President of Iran doesn't believe that the Holocaust happened. That is terrible and beyond words. I mean it was the most horrific event of the 20th century that was stopped by the Allied Forces. I don't think we should allow this to stand. Whatever your politics or religion you must learn from the horric past of this world so that we are not doomed to repeat it. That was one of the most terrible events ever and if the President of Iran refuses to learn from it then we must remove him from power because he is not fit to rule.

ACORN is Done

Looks like ACORN, the shady voter registration program that helped Obama into office has finally lost their funding.  It is good that we were able to push legislation into the congress that would get rid of this organization because of their liberal leanings.  I would be fine with a voter registration program if they didn't have a political agenda, but since they did I thought it was appalling that they were allowed to exist.

Missile Defense is a MUST HAVE

So the Obama Administration is doing it's part to make this country unsafe once again by removing the Missile Defense plan put in place by the Bush Administration.  This is a terrible idea because it leave the US and US allies open to attack from the burgeoning missile programs of Iran and Pakistan, both unstable countries with high anti-American sentiment.   I for one think this is a big deal but it seems to be getting ignored in the media because most people don't recognize how large the threat from these foreign powers is.  Let me put this in prespective.  If Iran launched a missle now it would be here in about 10 hours or less.  Everyone in your neighborhood would be dead.  Now how do you liberals feel about a missile defense shield?

The Glen Beck 9/12 Rally

I wish I could have been at the Glen Beck rally, it looks like it was a lot of fun and progress toward telling the government that we don't want the healthcare program that they are trying to create. The above picture is from the rally and it looks like people got very creative with their forms of protest. I am impressed mainly because I don't think I would be able to come up with a protest as clever as the hears.

Anti Obama Healthcare T-Shirt

This is a pretty funny shirt in reference to the change that Obama is trying to bring around in healthcare.  I think his change is about as good as the change I feel during a prostate exam.  That is why this shirt is so funny to me because I think that Obama is trying to give the country a prostate exam.  To the ladies out there, it is very painful - much like childbirth I imagine.

AP is Dishonorable

Against the wishes of the family, the Associated Press has decided to publish a photo of a dying Marine's last breath. There is no story here, it was just a sensational photo that the AP knew would get people to buy newspapers. To me this is beyond belief. There is no reason that they need to publish the picture other than to cause heartache for the family and other Marines around the world. It is really just shameful and a further example of the heartless souls that run these news content sites.

Drug Leniency Creates More Problems

According to FoxNews, Drug growers are starting to become more bold and are planting their cash crops in national parks near tourist attractions.  The problem with this other than people making and selling drugs is that these drug dealers are protecting their crops with guns against other drug dealers which means that people are getting attacked in the cross fire. This is not acceptable and this is something we should all be upset about. Our national parks that have been here longer than we have and should be preserved for future generations - not destroyed by terrorists.

The Cheney Witch Hunt

The probe into CIA interrogations that were preformed at the hands of the former president and vice president are a witch hunt and that is simply it. Cheney did nothing wrong when trying to protect this country and I am constantly annoyed that the Obama administration just focuses on the past instead of fixing problems in the present.

Colorado Basically Legalizing Drugs

Apparently there is a proposed legislation in Colorado to start making the fine for possessing a small amount of marijauna to just $1.  Now for most people (not me) that seems fine since our prisons are overcrowded now anyway (still don't understand why we can't build new ones) but what they don't realize is that this is just the first step down a very dark path towards getting drugs of all kinds into the legal realm and that means getting them into the hands of our children.  I just can't believe that everyone in that state is just trying to fight this.  This is our children that we are talking about.  Protecting them is protecting the future.

I love the humor in the below shirt.  Reminds me of something my doctor would say to me in joke (only in joke) while I am at his doctor office.  My doctor and I often discuss the finer points of the game although I think he has more time to get out and play than I do.  Oh well, such is the world.  But here is the funny shirt anyways.

Solhein Cup

I love the US Solheim Cup because it is a competition between the US and Europe to see who has the players that can take the cup each year. Of course we are defending out title from last year and defending the fact that America produces better golfing talent than Europe. This of course makes me happy because it proves our dominance in the sport - one which we didn't even invent. So you know what I will be watching in the coming days, what will you be watching?

Protecting the Right to Vote

I think that the Democratic congress needs to do more to protect the right to Vote in the Afghan provinces.  I heard on the news today that 7 were killed in a voting booth bombing even before the elections because they want to scare people from voting.  Voting is the most powerful tool of the people and if we can't restore that in Afghanistan like the Bush administration did in Iraq then I think that the Obama administration has failed (which it probably has).

Flood the Townhalls

I love that this site is called townhall because that is what we need to do. Flood all the townhalls set up by democratic congressmen to tell them how upset we are with the idea of paying more in tax to get less health care! I don’t want the government coming in and doing something poorly that private industry has spent YEARS perfecting. Let us let the experts do what they do best and let the government touch none of it.
