It seems
to me that the old system of standing by your leader has gone out the window
for a new system of capitalizing on the mistakes of your boss. Case and
point: Scott McClellan's new book that seems to have forgotten his commitment
to the president, because it is spreading hate speech and possible hearsay
about past events in the White House. What if this had happened during
WWII or Vietnam? The country would be locked in such a state of
disillusionment that I doubt any good decisions could have been made to make
sure we were on the right path. I think that there is a time and place
for decent (I am not against free speech), but I don't think this time, in the
middle of a war, is the right time.
