The Cheney Witch Hunt

The probe into CIA interrogations that were preformed at the hands of the former president and vice president are a witch hunt and that is simply it. Cheney did nothing wrong when trying to protect this country and I am constantly annoyed that the Obama administration just focuses on the past instead of fixing problems in the present.

Colorado Basically Legalizing Drugs

Apparently there is a proposed legislation in Colorado to start making the fine for possessing a small amount of marijauna to just $1.  Now for most people (not me) that seems fine since our prisons are overcrowded now anyway (still don't understand why we can't build new ones) but what they don't realize is that this is just the first step down a very dark path towards getting drugs of all kinds into the legal realm and that means getting them into the hands of our children.  I just can't believe that everyone in that state is just trying to fight this.  This is our children that we are talking about.  Protecting them is protecting the future.

I love the humor in the below shirt.  Reminds me of something my doctor would say to me in joke (only in joke) while I am at his doctor office.  My doctor and I often discuss the finer points of the game although I think he has more time to get out and play than I do.  Oh well, such is the world.  But here is the funny shirt anyways.

Solhein Cup

I love the US Solheim Cup because it is a competition between the US and Europe to see who has the players that can take the cup each year. Of course we are defending out title from last year and defending the fact that America produces better golfing talent than Europe. This of course makes me happy because it proves our dominance in the sport - one which we didn't even invent. So you know what I will be watching in the coming days, what will you be watching?

Protecting the Right to Vote

I think that the Democratic congress needs to do more to protect the right to Vote in the Afghan provinces.  I heard on the news today that 7 were killed in a voting booth bombing even before the elections because they want to scare people from voting.  Voting is the most powerful tool of the people and if we can't restore that in Afghanistan like the Bush administration did in Iraq then I think that the Obama administration has failed (which it probably has).

Public Plan is Dead - Good Job!

Good job everyone! According to the senate, the public plan is dead! I just wanted to thank everyone for their hard work in making our voices heard to make sure that health care from the government is not an option. Well done everyone, well done!

Flood the Townhalls

I love that this site is called townhall because that is what we need to do. Flood all the townhalls set up by democratic congressmen to tell them how upset we are with the idea of paying more in tax to get less health care! I don’t want the government coming in and doing something poorly that private industry has spent YEARS perfecting. Let us let the experts do what they do best and let the government touch none of it.

I really love these kids in LA that have started to put up these Obama Socialist Joker posters all over the place because to me this is finally the people recognizing Obama for what he really is.  Now I can't believe I am going to say this, but I wish that more cities would start to adopt the trend that is going on in LA

Sotomayor Confirmed - Courts Now Biased

With the confirmation of Sotomayor we now have a liberal, biased judge ruling on cases and setting this country back for at least the next 30 years.  I couldn't believe that all of our leaders rolled over and played lapdog to the Obama administration on this.  Someone that so obviously has an agenda shouldn't have been even considered for the position.  It scares me to think how she is going to skew and destroy the constitution with every ruling she makes.

Austalia Doing Their Part to Fight Terror

I am a big fan of our neighbors down south because they do their part to help fight terror and bring around a safer world over all.  Too many of the developed countries in the world leave it to the United States to fight terrorism, spending the lives and resources of our precious country to help protect those from other countries.  I am glad we do it to make the world a better place but that doesn't mean we don't need help once and a while.  So thank you Australia for stepping up and helping when we all need it.

Iran Must Face Consequences for Detaining More Americans

This latest in Iran's attempt at provoking the United States into acts of war is just despicable.  These hikers, although strange that they would want to hike in Iraq and Syria, just accidentally walked over the boarder into Iran and now they are going to be held in a prison in Iran for trespassing.  Now I can tell you that being in prison in Iran is nothing like being in prison in the US.  You have no rights, no access to medical help if you need it and you stand a good chance of dying.  I hate to think of innocent Americans being put in this situation and what irks me further is the idea that our democratic government will probably try to cut a deal that will take years while these poor souls languish in prison.  A depressing thought to say the least.
