Palin and McCain - A great Team, but maybe not the best team

I am very excited for this ground-breaking ticket that McCain has chosen for our party's nomination.  I think that Gov. Palin will be an excellent vice presidential candidate and that she accurately represents the morals, and social beliefs of the party that I put my trust and loyalty in.  However, I don't consider her my first choice for McCain's second and I actually think he should have select Romney.  From a policy standpoint Romney and Palin are close enought that it is a wash, but Romney has such a strength of character and a wealth of experience to pull on that Palin does not it makes me worry just a little for the VP debates against Biden.  Palin is going to need a lot of coaching to step into the big-boy realm and I hope that our party is ready to give that to her.  Also, the only chink I see in her armor (she has had an amazingly exemplary record as Governor) is the whole business with firing her brother in-law.  I don't like the possible mud slinging ads that can be played for that.  I think we need to have ads and a prepared text to deal with that so that the democrats aren't able to make it seem more than the nothing incident that it is.  So Palin is going to be great for this country I just want to make sure that everyone on the team is ready to prepare her for a long fight to November.

Stop Obama's Child Labor NoteCard

Well there is no other name for it.  Obama is using his children as child labor to help give him the public image he will never earn - the image of a down-to-earth politician that actually knows what the people want.  The little trick they pulled during the DNC last night, having Michelle and the children try to sell the family image is nothing more than good acting and a lot of child labor.  I want to know how much coaching and training those poor children had to go through to say those lines so perfectly last night.  Actually I don't  I think that it is nothing more than child labor reminiscent of what we used to see during the Industrial Revolution as shown on this notecard below.  This should be the rallying cry of the republicans to do away with phony candidates and their abused families.

Biden is a Bust

First off allow me to retort to the Democrat's choice of Biden for the VP of Obama.....HAHAHAHAHAHHAHA! Not only is this one of the worst choices for the future of the democratic campaign but it is also one of the worst choices looking back. First off Biden is known to not be able to control himself and his silly mouth like when he made racist remarks about Indians and Pakistanis. Secondly, he is a friend of McCain. They have "hung-out" together multiple times and Biden even asked McCain to come over to the democrats with him at one point (McCain of course refused). It is hard for a person that knows all these facts to believe that Biden will do anything good for the democrats. He can't control himself and obviously has no party allegiance. But, if the democrats want to destroy their campaign from within I am OK with that.

McDonalds is screwing with people

Now I am not one for regulation of industry but sometimes even I draw the line.  And that line starts and ends at finding hardware in your food.  This woman in NY found a METAL SCREW in her McDonald's apple pie.  This is frightening to me because I eat the apple pies all the time (I will probably be stopping soon) and that a corporation like McDonald's can get away with such a poor quality standard.  I think an American company should be held to a standard that is much higher than say something like Panda Express.  If I eat at McDonald's I expect a certain level of safety and comfort and it doesn't seem that they are delivering that right now.  So it is time they re-evaluate their quality standards and do some upgrading.

Boston Social Welfare

I recently had a chance to spend some time in Boston MASS and let me tell you it is a sad state of affairs in that New England state. Social welfare and health systems have the normal people taxed so heavily that the only two classes that exist are the heavily taxed and those that are leaching off of them. You can see it everywhere. In the town of Quincy, just outside of Boston, the streets are in disrepair and the business district is floundering. This may be due to other factors but the lack of cash that investors have because they are paying into social medicine I am sure is not helping. Social welfare is a broken system that will never save the people of this nation. If we really want to help people - we need to educate them by allowing them to go to school. Beyond that they need to help themselves otherwise they can't expect anyone to do it for them.

Kiss the Liberal Stompin' Cook Apron

How can you pass up posting something this funny? It's an apron that would earn you a lot kisses in my neck of the woods and I am pretty sure that my wife would not let me wear that one to any of our summer BBQs.  Oh well, ha!  Anyway, check out the apron below that features some of the best political punditry you can find on an apron.

The Underage Chinese Gymnast Team

So I watched the Olympic competition last night between the US Women’s Gymnasts and their Chinese counterparts and I was shocked at the age of the Chinese team. For international competition gymnasts have to be 16, these girls looked closer to 12 than 16. What happened when the IOC tried to look into it? Oh well they were only able to find birth certificates (that looks suspiciously fresh) issued by the Chinese government and signed by government doctors. I think this is appealing and I think the golds should be stripped from the Chinese. They are spitting in the face of the international community and saying they don’t have to adhere to the rules (does this sound similar to the Chinese copyright infringement issue?). But what is worse is they are unfairly crushing the legitimate chances of the hard working American team. I am just so frustrated by this and I hope that the IOC sees the travesties committed in Beijing so that they never host another Olympics in China again.

Edwards, A typical Democrat

So Edwards admits to have a sexual relationship and joins the ranks of Spitzer as another Democrat that talks a big game and ends up not defending it.  How can anyone with family values, or self-respect believe the lies that constantly stream from the mouth’s of these democrat men?  It is especially worse in the case of Edwards as 2006 was the year that his wife was fighting cancer.  So this man, instead of taking care of his sick wife, was off with another woman destroying the moral fiber of his family, his party and this country.  I find it sickening that we continue to believe democrats and I wonder what skeleton will come from the closet of the newest democratic poster child, Barack Obama.

And they can't fix it!?

So I heard on AM radio news today that Iraq may have a 80 BILLION suplus in their fiscal budget!  This is unbelievable!  That money should be going to the USA for fighting this war for them.  We are in a recession right now and people around me are losing their jobs left and right and still we pour money into Iraq while the government their sits on the behinds and watches us clean up the country for them.  I was never one for pulling out, but I am unless Iraq starts using that money to fix the issues that are in the country.  I just can't believe that we are spending American tax dollars over there when they have more money than we do!  It is just shocking beyond all belief.  Iraq clean up your act so that America can return to a normal country.

Ashamed can leave Notecard

I was thinking about getting a bunch of these notecards and sending them to all the liberals I know.  It is just sad to me that they are so ashamed of their country that they cannot even stand up for what it believes in.  They don't want us to fight for freedom and civil rights, they instead want to sit inside all day eating McDonald's and watching Grey's Anatomy.  Well I think this nation requires action at home and aboard.  Action to make sure that everyone is safe (even those I don't agree with).  So that is why I share the sentiment of the below card.  If you've ever read my blog on a regular basis, you do too.

Obama Plays Race Again

So ever since the primaries have begun Obama has played the race card and it seems that his recent trip to Missouri is no different.  He said things like the McCain camp was putting him down for not "looking like a typical president" and other stuff like that.  The truth is that Obama is not like a typical presidential candidate because he is making decisions that don't make sense.  Recently the WSJ reported that his economic policy is so awful that it would create a recession until 2011.  It is just further proof that Obama is trying to steer the REAL concern about his policies and turn it into some kind of political game, my only hope is that enough moderates will see the mess that Obama could create if elected.
