McClellan = turncoat

It seems to me that the old system of standing by your leader has gone out the window for a new system of capitalizing on the mistakes of your boss.  Case and point: Scott McClellan's new book that seems to have forgotten his commitment to the president, because it is spreading hate speech and possible hearsay about past events in the White House.  What if this had happened during WWII or Vietnam?  The country would be locked in such a state of disillusionment that I doubt any good decisions could have been made to make sure we were on the right path.  I think that there is a time and place for decent (I am not against free speech), but I don't think this time, in the middle of a war, is the right time.

Patriotic Business Cards

My friend Daniel knows I love interesting ideas to get the word out so he sent me info on the below product with this quote:

"I'm gonna put patriotic quotes on these cards with my contact information to recruit all the GOP members that I see park at my parking garage.  Just stick it in the window shield, it's perfect."

I have to say I agree with Danny here because this is a great way to recruit potential members into the ranks.  Just organize a rally and get a pack of 100 of these cards to put on cars or hand out at crowded places.  I think it is a tremendous idea and I am considering having a McCain rally to support him soon and will be getting these.

Honor our Troops

Today is Memorial Day and despite your views on the war, today is the day to honor those that have served this country in the past and those that serve it now.  America, since its inception, has been a beacon of truth, and a guiding light for the rest of the world.

I am proud to be a citizen and I am more proud of those that protected the values of this country by laying down their lives to serve it.  Thank you troops of old.  And thank you to the troops that continue to bring freedom to the darkest corners of the world.

Stimulus Package on its way

I just got a letter from the IRS letting me know that my stimulus package is on it's way.  I am very excited about this and it couldn't have come at a better time for me and the US economy.  For me, this is going to help me get my new cellphone (I am thinking iPhone), as for the US it is going to get the economy jump started again. Unlike the belief of the democrats the economy is not recovered and this stimulus package is right on time and not too late.  I think that this is going to really help create some jobs and bring us out of the slump in the economy. Thanks Mr. Bush!

Democrats on the verge of self-destruction

I comment on this frequently, but it is just so funny to watch.  Mr. Obama has picked up another super delegate which means that he will most likely become the democratic nominee for president.  As much as many conservatives fear him, I believe that he is a less formidable foe that Hillary and will be very easy to beat in the general election.  He can’t debate, he can barely read prepared speeches well, and his known associates do not help his record.  I am not saying McCain can’t win on his own, I firmly believe he would win in a fair fight, I just don’t like to leave matters of such grave importance to chance.

McCain interview and Photo Mug

So I happened to see the Daily Show yesterday while I was running at my club and was going to change the channel until Mr. Steward announced that John McCain was going to be the guest, so I had to watch it then.  It was a great interview.  I am really impressed that McCain is able to hold his composure (and even be funny) while staring into the mouth of the beast (Stewart’s show represents a total liberal nerve center).  It is just further proof that when dealing with sensitive times, communities and countries McCain will be able to bring the country through with flying colors.  I think McCain warms me like coffee in this McCain mug.  How bout that?

Clinton is out - Focus on getting Obama

hillary clinton In case people are still trying to attack Clinton I say give up.  She just lended herself another 4.6 million dollars and if that is not an inndicator of her falling into relegation spot in the eyes of the democrats I don't know what is. Even in this recession, Obama is breaking campaign funding records. So I say forget about Clinton it is time to start exploring the deep, dark closet of Obama and see what misdeeds this man has done before the primary. We don't want the Democrats to have any head of steam going into this election. So let's make sure that we are ready for the zealots that have seemed to lock onto this candidate that promises change but only seems to deliver crazy preachers and half-truths

Slowing Ethanol Production = Cheaper Food

It is sad that people are unable to see the corelation between the rising food cost and the demand for Ethanol.  So let me spell it out.  Ethanol is made from corn, corn is food, you eat cord, the less corn there is, the less you eat.  Does that make sense?  Well finally it is starting to make sense to those on Capitol Hill because McCain is now asking policy makers to ease the rules on required ethanol use so that we can bring down the rising price of food which is destroying lives in America.  It is refreshing to see that someone is brining a little sense to the senate these days.  McCain is going to be a great leader for this country just based on shear level-headedness, I know it's not a word, but it should be.

Celebrity Gossip - No place on the front page

Front page of newspapers and news websites is no place for celebrity gossip.  The latest story about Brad or Cruise is not going to change the way we interact with the world, it will only distract us from what is really important.  I read CNN this morning and there was a story about the singer Amy Winehouse right below a story about a tragic death.  That just doesn't seem right to me that a story about some wayward celebrity gets as much prominence as a murder.  Does it to you?  I didn't think so.  This obsession with celebrity culture is just another thing that distracts us from the real issues in the world.  I hope that one day celebrities will only be acknowledge for the jobs they do, much like a electrician or plumber is acknowledge.  Then we will be able to get back to the business of being good citizens.

the Wright Custom t-shirt

Just to follow up my talk about Reverend Wright, I thought I would share this shirt to show how the rest of the internet community feels about Obama and his association with this obviously deranged man.

I hope that the tide is turning and people are starting to lose their "Obama" wonder. Because as soon as we have all woken up, McCain will be the natural choice.
