Drug Lord's Son Ends Violence

I just finished reading this article on Time.com and I really think it is something we should hold up and celebrate. It talks about the son of Pablo Escobar and how he is trying to do good in Columbia to break the legacy of family violence. It is going to take a lot of work but I really appreciate what he is doing in trying to reform his country to make it safe again.

Big Wins for Us

It is nice to see that many people across the country are returning to normality and starting to support the GOP candidates again.  I think this is good progress that is going to start carrying the party into the mid-term elections next year.  I think we need to focus down and get those swing states back into the red so that we can be sure to start opposing some of the aggressive policies of the Obama administration and start having some bite to it.

Anti Health Care T-Shirt

I think this shirt explains exactly how I feel about the upcoming bill from the House of Representatives. There is nothing that the government is able to do effectively or at a low cost and we want to trust them with our lives and health? I think it is a terrible idea and of course you, my readers, know that I like to share what I think is a terrible idea with every fiber of my being.

Pelosi's Bill Will Change Your Life - FOR THE WORSE!

Peel back the onion and see the Democrat's health care bill for what it is: Government medicine that caters to the cheapest and the easiet option.  This latest bill from the Pelosi House is going to increase our costs and lower our quality of care.  Are we ready for that?  Heck no!  I say we make sure not to let this bill get past the house and hope that the if it does the senate can stop it.

The USS New York was constructed from the wreckage of 9-11

The newest ship in the Atlantic fleet was christened the USS New York, named after the city and especially two buildings that had an instrumental hand in building the ship. The WTC donated 24 tons of steel to this ship to help make it what it is today and what it represents in the future. The Ship's motto is "We will never forget" and much like the ship that is sure to have a long and amazing career, the people of the United States will never forget either. I think this is a beautiful repurposing of the steel from that terrible accident and I hope that it will serve as a living symbol to all those that suffered through the terrible moment in American History.

Cheney is being abused

I can't believe that the Democrats are being turncoats in this Afghanistan issue.  I mean Cheney has a wealth of experience with fighting a war in Iraq and Afghanistan and not only does the current State Department shun him, they also accuse him of setting an improper time table for troop build up in that country. It just blows my mind that these Johnny Come Latelies believe that they have more experience running a war than a man that has been doing it for 8 years.  I know I was always taught to respect my elders, seems as though Obama's team didn't get that lesson

Civilized Afghanistan

Frankly, I was surprised that the incumbent President Karzai bowed so quickly to the cries for a run off election in Afghanistan.  That is actually showing progress that the government that is riddled with corruption would actually like to change.  Hopefully this country will start to turn around with the upcoming presidency and we can start to bring our boys back to the states to stop fighting in Obama's war.

Stimulus Money Mismanaged Bumper Sticker

There is nothing worse than having a huge stimulus package that is spending all of my money and then having it not be used properly.  Many reports are starting to fly out of Washington about the mismanagement of the stimulus money and how it hasn't been spent to serve the American people.  This is a sad fact and I want to show my anger and support for the opposition with this bumpersticker.

Balloon Boy is Home

I am happy to hear that the boy that was/was not trapped in the balloon was able to come safely home (even though he was home the entire time). Some people are complaining that there was too much media attention give to this cause but I think if this child is home and safe regardless of where he was then all the attention and time spent on this was worth it.

Gop Faulters On Health Care

The GOP has faultered on the party lines for health care and are now in support of the middle of the road Health care bill. This is terrible because the bill is really not middle of the road and in fact will increase our health care costs up to $4000 a person according to an independent study. I am not sure how to feel about this. I feel betrayed and abandoned and I feel like I have no alternative with health care. What are we going to do now?

Obama's Peace Prize

I think I was just as shocked as the rest of the country at Obama getting the Nobel Peace Prize, but unlike the rest of the what now seems to be liberal leaning world I am not happy for Obama. What has he actually done that deserves the peace prize? He hasn't solved any world crisis or solved the wars that we are fighting so why should he get a peace prize? I will tell you why, because those in the rest of the world and many people in this country are just infatuated with Obama and don't see past the fact that he doesn't do anything. We as a country need to get over Obama so we can move on from Obama in three years.

The Cross is a Symbol of America

The above picture, of a cross boxed up on public land is a total disgrace. This country was founded by men of faith and has a right to have that faith expressed in public places. The Federal government doesn't have the right to tell states what to do with endowed land because there is a separation of state and federal governments. I can't believe that this matter is now coming before the Supreme Court, but since it is I hope that they rule on the side of God.

Is the US Ready for an Earthquake

In the wake of all the Earthquakes in Southeast Asia it begs the questions: Is the US ready for another major earthquake? I think not. Obama's administration has shown no strength in any area of government and if there was to be another major natural disaster it would be just as bad as Katrina in terms of rescue efforts, or worse. I fear for those that live in earthquake zones because they are in danger and don't even know what it is from, not because they are in danger from the quakes, but from Obama.

Senate Rejects Public Option

I Hate Clinton Conservative Bumper Stickers

I can't stand Bill Clinton.  Today he released a statement saying that he believe a "vast right wing conspiracy" is out there trying to undermine Obama.  THAT IS NOT THE TRUTH!  The truth is that there are people like you and I trying to bring back this country to a level of normalcy that the liberals are trying to stop because they want to turn this capitalist country into a socialist paradise.  I will not stand for it and I know that many other people out there will not stand for it.  That is why we display things like this bumper sticker below on our cars and that is why we fight against the left to help protect the country that we built.
